Life rolls on

So in the latest installment of my “new” life…

I started my new job two days ago and it is going great. I don’t actually have a computer yet put I have been reading none stop and I have been learning a lot. In addition to liking the task, I love the people that I am working with and for. These people are looking out for me; they are making me feel welcome, and treating me like I belong. Hopefully I will have a computer by the end of the week, but that is not stopping me. I have an all day meeting tomorrow about my new task and I participated in a round table discussion about another task today.

In addition to the job, I have decided to cash out my 401K for my old job to make home improvements. (I just have to call and talk to the company.) I will be getting around $6,000 from that and my parents are giving my husband and me $5,000 for any and all gifts until next year. (I have the best parents in the world.) That will give my husband and me $11,000 to do home improvements, and my house needs it. We have a list a mile long of things to do and on the top of that list is a new roof and back door. We are also going to be how many more projects we can get done to include: new windows, new flooring, redoing the whole bathroom, painting everything, new fans, and a couple more projects.

I am surviving school and cannot wait for this last class from this school to be done. I have one more week but I think that week will never end. I am hoping that this new school will be better, but I will have to wait and see.

With all that said, I feel that life is moving in a really good direction.
